Could the fact that Luca prefers the YBA over the ARC come down to class of operation?

I wouldn't put it that way...I had listened to other A/AB amps but they didn't convince me as much as the YBA has. I guess it all comes down to the particular YBA design that, in my room, with my components and for my taste has pulled the right strings for me!! (does that make sense? Sorry for my English lol).

Take note that PS Audio came out with a line of, (since abandoned) class D amps. PS has a new amp being designed that will be class A/AB. Does that tell you something?

What is your take on break in when it comes to connections. I have until recently had my DSI200 hooked up to a cd through RCA. Now I have a new player and it's connected through XLR. Does that mean I have another 600 hours of break in?

Break in means tubes, capacitors, etc..
Does not mean input selections.
