Most of my gear was shipped up to a point then the dealer had to deliver in person or I had to go to them which I was not going to do as it was a two day trip. I am guessing that McIntosh told them to stop or face losing their brand. The McIntosh website clearly shows what can be purchased online and what cannot. Luckily I have the system I always wanted so not much else to buy.....! RIGHT?

Just kidding, I already know what I might want next but will wait till after the new year. I got back into vinyl a year ago and have been buying like crazy selected ones both new and used. That keeps me busy right now.

This vinyl stuff is really addictive, as I've found out since my new rig went in a few months ago. Always looking for another album, another accessory, etc, etc...

It gave me something to do this last year plus. I have acquired about 150 albums. I got rid of my previous vinyl collection back in the eighties. I stupidly got rid of my McIntosh system back then as well.

I am currently tube rolling in my C1000T and depending on the results - I might try adding the MP1100 next.

I am really glad I added the MP1100. I guess I have around 25 to 30 hours with it. Right off I noticed a difference listening to Nora Jones as my test. I was surprised at the detail and fuller sound stage. Understand I am not a connoisseur of audio terms to explain myself. So far every album with a few exceptions has delivered a richer fuller sound with detail in the mids and highs. I set up my own MC program for the cartridge I am using. It is the same one that comes on the MT10 but mine is the MT2. You can change the cartridge loading easily on the fly should you think necessary.

If you can find one then I say go for it. They might be a little hard to find and I got lucky with mine. Not sure where you are located but make several inquiries to dealers in your area. Ordering might take 3 or 4 months. Good luck.
