Bi - pre-amping with the C12000
The C12000 has a solid state and tube preamp in the same chassis. With both turned on I hooked up the tube output XLR to the speakers and the solid state output to the self powered sub. Interesting feature.

So after a week with this setup I swapped and put the mains on SS and the sub on tubes.
Sound completely fell apart. Lost all the separation and detail. |

Going back to the original setup I suppose.

Thinking of biamping setup c12000 with 2x MC452, with tubes output for HF , SS output for LF. Wondering how will this setup sound like?
