Default Bi - pre-amping with the C12000
The C12000 has a solid state and tube preamp in the same chassis. With both turned on I hooked up the tube output XLR to the speakers and the solid state output to the self powered sub. Interesting feature.

So after a week with this setup I swapped and put the mains on SS and the sub on tubes.
Sound completely fell apart. Lost all the separation and detail.

Thinking of biamping setup c12000 with 2x MC452, with tubes output for HF , SS output for LF. Wondering how will this setup sound like?
