I'm trying to find a used 1m pair of Wels or Wild. In mt system even the Niagara sounds good and I hope the Wel's /or Wild takes my system to the next level

I am actually selling a 1 meter/balance pair of Water and Niagara. I went from Niagara to WEL and can't believe the difference. Good luck finding the top end AQ cables used. The only ones I've personally seen used in the last year or more have been counterfeit. AQ wasn't kidding when the posted that o their site. I personally dont' think the difference between the WEL and Niagara is worth the cost new, but it's a big upgrade. If you looked at the new cost difference, then you'd be better off getting an 6k upgrade in a component IMHO.

I already purchased a used 1m Niagara, but I need another 1m XLR pair of something. I'm trying to determine the best value between Niagara, Fire, or Wild?

Regarding interconnects I would say Wild is the sweet spot. In the right system it makes an obvious improvement over Niagara. But do not try the WEL, especially if your budget is out of reach.

I don't know the answer, because I haven't had the chance to directly compare the Niagara to Fire or Fire to Wild. My friend has the Niagara and Fire. According to him it's very hard to hear the difference between Niagara and Fire. I was told by Audioquest that Fire is the sweet spot in their current line-up of interconnect cables.

I've auditioned many an Audioquest cable in the past and they have never satisfied my taste. Granted last time I auditioned Audioquest was about 7 years back but I subsequently found that even the most affordable Transparent cable sounds far fuller, richer and more musical to my ears. Don't have much experience with WireWorld. Of course we all have our taste and system synergy comes into play. I was running Lamm gear back then but Transparent also worked wonders on all my gear and different speakers that followed over the years. I guess I personally never clicked with Audioquest.

Wild would be the sweet spot if purchasing at a heavily discounted used price. Used Niagara is more bang for the buck by far, but if you’re really picky then used Wild is the way to go for sure. $4500 retail for a 1-meter pair of new AQ Wild is too beaucoup IMO
