Using your CD recorder obviously won't get you hi-res dubs, but it might work better than many of the alternatives. If you want hi-res done cheap, you could buy a used Masterlink or something like the Korg or Denon SD recorders. I get great results with the Masterlink.

I do have a question....once you record an LP to the Masterlink hard drive how do you get from the Masterlink hard drive to your PC/Mac or external HD?

I burn from the Masterkink HD to CD-R at 24/96, then load the CD in my computer.

I just pulled the trigger on the Alesis Masterlink ML-9600 on eBay. Supposedly hardly used with remote, manual and original box.
Any helpful hints would be appreciated!!!!
