On my system, Auralic seems better behaved than Roon.

Thumbs up G2.1 recommended

Six months ago I traded in a Marantz NA11 for an Auralic Aries G1, which I traded in again two weeks ago for a G2.1.

That's one of the nicest upgrades I've made in the past ten years!

A streamer or renderer from Aurender had been on my wish list for years, precisely because of its sounding, but the G2.1 in my set offers at least equivalent performance in combination with a more user-friendly operation. I experience the Lightning DS app as clear and stable.

In short, I am very happy with it. Recommended

Any and all opinions are very much appreciated.
I could be wrong but I don't think you can buy the AURALIC ARIES G2.1 STREAMER / MUSIC SERVER from a brick and mortar store. Kevin Deal of Upscale Audio is the only. USA distributor. Not a bad thing but I always like to look and listen before buying anything. Lumin has dealers all over the country.

AURALIC ARIES G2.1 doest get outstanding reviews and Kevin Deal does have a pretty good reputation.

I stand corrected! Also it seem there are 7 places where you can buy them in the States!
