Default DS Audio E1

Pulled the trigger and ordered a DS Audio E1 cartridge and equalizer. This is their entry level cartridge. Will give a review after a listening session.

My first impression of the DS Audio DS E1 cartridge and equalizer is quite favorable. This is their entry level system and sounds like it will stay with me forever. When compared to my Lumin U1 streamer I can hear a more enveloping sound. I never had a top shelf M/M or M/C cartridge & phono preamp but have listened to many. The DS Audio setup is in a league of its own. Try it you’ll like it.

TURNTABLE- Kenwood KD-650
PREAMP- Prima Luna Evo 400
AMP- McIntosh MC-462
SPEAKERS- Focal Sopra 2

Nice.
Yep. There's just something about vinyl.
Great TT.

That should be a nice addition for you. I had the pleasure of hearing a DS Audio WS-3 on a VPI TT, playing into Convergent Audio Technology preamp and amplifiers, powering some modified Hales speakers. Yeah, you could say it was in rarified air! Enjoy!
