Yes he is a pretty darn big fellow for sure.
17 1/2 Lbs. of Male Maine Coon.
No children on this end but I do have my Buddy "tiger".

Our companion animals add so much love and fuilfillment to our lives; there's nothing better than both the giving and receving of unconditional love to our companion animals. It's one of the best things in the world, if you ask me.

I agree with you totally.
Tiger is a big part of my life here at home each day.
He is either right under the desk I am sitting at or over in his stand that has a round bed attached at the top.
The reason we got a Maine Coon is because I wanted a Very Large Male cat that liked being with his owner.
The Maine Coon as you might already know is the closest thing to a dog in the cat world.
Tiger knows exactly where I am all the time.
And usually he is some where keeping an eye on me as I move around.
Including hanging out in the HT when I am up there.
Not all the time but frequent as he chooses.

Here is a picture of me and him here in the office in the house a few minutes ago.

This is really very close to what "tiger" looks like.

I think this might give you an idea of his real size as you can tell with me in the picture.
I am 6" 1" and weigh 217 Lbs.
So I am not a small fellow and he still looks Awesome in Size to me in this picture.

Thought he is kinda small by male Maine Coon standards How old is he? The males get up to 30 lbs. Saw one at a recent show that was a year old and 20 lbs.

Love the pic and size of Tiger. Like Tiger, Lucky knows where I am at all times, and generally will join me wherever I am in the house, even if it's to sleep or nap. He just likes being around where I am.

My old trainer had a Maine Coon. They are one needy kitty too
