Thanks. I'll eventually end up at the PLMM2s. Can't wait to hear 'em in my system.

Hello everyone,
this is my first post here. Please, a question : a pair of used M1.2 mono is arriving to match my L2 Ref pre. Which is the best way to power them ? Through the two AC outlets of the L2 (the L2 AC voltage is filtered by special RFI power line filter, only for it or also for the AC outlets ?) or directly to the wall sockets. I have a dedicated power line for my equipments. Thanks in advance for your advices, best, dino |

Thanks a lot !
About the connections, this early morning I just received the answer to my question from the very kind Lady Elina Lamm. She told me that it's necessary to power the mono with the wall sockets and not through the L2 AC output. My next opinions and questions, here, as new Lamm amp owner. ATB dino |

I'm now running a TA Power Isolator MM2 sandwiched between two TA Premium Powerlink power cords for each Lamm M1.2 mono.

Why? Have you had much experience with these PCs & Lamm amps?

Hello fellow Lammers, new to the site, my first post. Just got some M2.1 monoblocks, was looking to see what power cords and tubes you guys use. I find the overall sound a bit dark on top.

Some find the overall Lamm sound as slightly 'dark'; and by contrast with certain amps there is that relative difference. For myself I don't think of them as dark but as offering a tonal depth that delivers realistic fundamentals and overtones. To my ears, the opposite of their character is not 'light' but lean. What speakers do you have? |
