Hi, I turned off all lights, cut off main circuit breakers. Still hum. The hum is always constant in pitch and in loudness. The level is very faint, limit of human hearing I guess, Microphone on iPad can’t pick it. It coming out from midrange drivers too besides woofers. At this point I guess the inductors in crossover act like an antenna. So with hum coming from both Mid and Woofer, I am not sure any more what is the origin source between LF or HF terminals. The level of hum changed as I rotate the LF level knobs in front. The speakers design allow for drivers and crossover removal easily. ShAll I cover the crossover with something like this ? http://www.oyaide.com/ENGLISH/AUDIO/...emi/pg530.html The demagnetize track I tried did not help. Toga |
