Dave.......The recording studio and control room are professional, just on a smaller home scale. The gear is all pro level equipment and performs wonderfully. I am able to do live recording in both analog and digital up to 24Bit/96kHz. It is lots of fun to use the gear and record live music. I have several friends who are excellent musician. I used to record more often than I have in the past three or four years but it still gets use. I love spending time in the studio and the control room. Now I can listen to FM radio in the control room with my new vintage Crown FM Two tuner. That's a nice little perk. I'm a happy camper.
