Well Rilands, I had no idea TAN could mean so many different things.
JohnK, you are certainly on the right track. The Audiophile Network, was a message board back in the day when the only way on the Internet was using a modem over a telephone line. If memory serves me, this was in the early 90's when all Internet access was character based. Netscape was just around the corner. Many of the contributors on TAN were vying for positions in the "Audio Press" and several did, in fact, succeed. Thanks for the welcomes!! |
