I am using CMS footers now, don’t want the original feet to hang around.

There is no need to opening the top, just take the foot in your hand and unscrew them from the device, nothing could be simpler.

Just hold the textured one ? And rotate.
Ah that is great. Thank you.
Are there any loose nuts moving inside once we remove the feet ?

Yes just hold the textured and rotate ( unscrew )
There are no nuts inside, the thread is directly made on the frame. Nothing drops out and it's just as easy to screw on.

Default How to remove footers?

Now my Esoteric K1X have its weight down on Critical Mass System CS2 0.8 feet and on also CMS Platinum platform.
CS2 0.8 is like turbo charging to the K1X. But trying to look for what is missing, or may be not. It has been 5 days on new feet already I think.
Ok on night, voices are so like good analog or even
Microphone feed. What seem to be missing is treble air
And that airy long trailing.. of metal based purcussion, but that was to be expected.

Did you have the opportunity to try the Stillpoints Ultra SS under your K1X ?
Compared to the original footers they bring more air and precision.

This is what I use under mine, on a Finite Elemente Pagode Ref'.
On the other hand, I can't compare to the CMS because I haven't tried them.

Little "off-topic" about the K1X : I've been using it for a few months now and I can only conclude that it's much better everywhere than my - already very good - ex K1 ! It's really a fabulous player.

That kind of sound can be expected form metal based footer I think. No I cannot afford those Ultra6.
I agree with you I am very happy with K1X. I am connecting MUTEC REF10 120SE to it now and tomorrow G02X as a comparison. Expect PS1 to arrive start of next year.
But adding more options kill the simplicity concept of K1X. And cost of K1K+PS1+clocks+ extra power cords make it approaching P1X D1X.
