I really hear every nuance in the recording and the image never seems to be coming from the speakers. These really are quite extraordinary.

Unsatisfying?

I think the mark of a really good speaker is its ability to satisfy at reasonable to low volumes. Also, gorgeous system.

Best

Harbeth and Luxman have great synergy. I've used my m900u on a pair of SHL5+ XD/Ton Trager before, and the sound was amazing.

Any thoughts on using a Mc C2300 and MC275VI with a 40.3 XD on stands?

I think a MC275VI + 40.3 combo would sound incredible.

Your setup looks great! Harbeths generally need power to get the most out of them and you do not short-change them a bit! I like the wide spacing. How do you find the soundstaging? I own 30.2XDs and have them somewhat spread apart too.
