Default Getting Back In The Groove

I am addicted to listening to vinyl. I can't explain the reason, my cd's sound great. I have pure music software and a halide bridge as a conduit to playing my music off my computer all recorded in AIFF. When I am listening to my digital library I do not sense anything lacking and the convenience should make long listening sessions a no brainer. My turntable is not brand new anymore ie the feeling one has after buying a new toy has expired. The sound from my turntable just seems to be getting better and better; I just love listening to the music . I think Michael Fremer was right

David : analog is more natural. Plain and simple.
Your ears can hear that.
Some others don't.

David: About you new addiction - What are a few of the special pills (discs) that draw you into a pure pleasure listening session and make you think, "This is what vinyl is all about".

Instead of looking into Vinyl for "Demo", I am looking for vinyl that is musically seductive and cannot be walked away from.
Thanks,
Howard

Ok I will list a few but it really depends on the mood your in and what type of music you like. Some of the 180 gm LP's I have recently purchased really sound amazing. I purchased Esperanza Spalding-Chamber Music Society solely because it won a Grammy award and the Princeton Record Exchange had it on display. While I do not routinely listen to this type of music I enjoy this album. I have mentioned that Eric Clapton - Unplugged , the double album LP is very very good. Heart-Dream Boat Annie, Even Miles Davis on LP sounds way better than the cd. Since I have been cleaning my older Lp's from record collection with the spin clean I am enjoying all my old rock music. Right now I am listening to Steely Dan-Can't Buy a Thrill . I don't know if its the record clamp and make up of the platter or the SME 309 with the Shelter 501 but I do not even hear any crackle or pops on most of my LP's new or old. My Technics used to be noisy in comparison, it would mistrak on certain LP's and bass was not nearly as articulate.
