But if you like you can start with the older firmware first - as long as you aren't using the Bridge 2. That required a minimum firmware version.

I upgraded from Yale to Torreys and spent several hours listening yesterday. All I can say is I had no problems and as far as I can tell my system has never sounded better.

I suppose I could be mistaken but it seems like I have to up the volume just slightly over what I did with Yale. I do not run a pre-amp and feed the output directly into a PassLabs XVR-1 electronic crossover. I can use a little gain from the crossover so it's not really an issue.

Anyway happy camper here.
