I am a new convert to Mcintosh, all i can say is wow!!

Replaced a Conrad Johnson CA200 with Mcintosh C50 pre and MC302 Power amp and I am delighted with outcome. I also love the big blue dials.

I am using a Conrad Johnson HD3 USB DAC fed by a heavily modded mac Mini with Linear power supplies powering the Mac, the External SSD HD and an Upton Audio Regen. Martin Logan Prodigy speakers.

Still a bit of system rearrangement to do as I have gone from an integrated to preamp and power. I am thinking of getting a rack behind to hold the DAC and power supplies. With the front right rack to hold my CD player and a future vintage FM tuner. Not going higher as I don't want to impact soundstage by having equipment between the panels.

Hello to All,

My first post…Inspired by all your McIntosh systems.

I am renewing an interest in audio and my wife is worried.
