Michael..... I see that you own an MC602 and some B&W speakers that I assume you're using together? As we are B&W folks, too, I'd appreciate your thoughts on the MC602 and, naturally, how it sounds with your B&W speakers.

Thanks for your time...

MC-3500 if I had the chance (and money), but since I have neither... the one in my signature block wins for my needs and budget hands down..

501 for me for about 10 or more years. Drive my Thiels (a tough load) to rock n roll heaven.

To me the most liquid midrange I ever heard from a Mac amp was the original MC225. I of course haven’t listened to all of the Mac amps and I’m sure the newer mega amps will give greater impact.

If your primary listening is jazz and/or voice recordings the MC225 will not disappoint.

1.25KW hands down. Does a fabulous job driving my XVX. Silky smooth highs, ultra sweet mid, visceral bass.

Best

Absolute congrats!! As good a stereo amps have become, the mono block is still superior. Enjoy them to the fullest and let us know how they sound.

Best
