Also should I use the Venom digital of the Alpha NR v1, going to the Everest, which should arrive in the next week. Thanks in advance your help.
I use an Alpha NR V2 to power my HDPlex with great results.

No doubt also at least and Alpha V2 to power the Everest.

SCAudiophile, thanks for the quick response, do I plug the the umbilical from the Wavelet to the 12 volt input into the HdPlex?

Yes, either a 12V fixed output or a variable output setting the dial to 12V.

One other thing...you can and should leave HDPlex in 24x7. I leave Wavelet on all the time too but putting it in standby is also fine at night when not listening.

Hi!

Based on your experience, what power cable is the best match for the Accuphase PS530?

That is a topic in itself, I could recommend you the Alpha/Sigma/Omega XC V2 models of your budget.

But considering the $$$$ and expectations I would rather resell/tradein the Accuphase PS530 for a Denali 6000/S2 or Everest 8000 and put the corresponding XC for the PD/connected gear. This will net you the highest SQ for your buck and not be harm-stringed by the PS530 with these level of powercables.

TAP, along with Shunyata's HARP technology for speaker cables, is, IMHO, ground-breaking "Hangar 18" level-technology in my experience. This IC is noticeably more open-sounding, spacious, and 3-dimensional than other IC's I've evaluated, including the excellent Shunyata ICs e.g. Delta v1 and v2.

TAP brings Depth, 3-dimensionality and expansion of the soundstage's width, depth, and height. All this is from increased of finer resolution of the subtle aspects of the signal that the TAP device provides. It really is remarkable. I also notice increased inner detail being resolved well within the soundstage. I've got some good recordings where you can hear decay of secondary reflections off the opposite wall in the recording studio (listen to, for example, Duke Ellington and Johnny Hodges on "Back to Back") with the new Alpha V2 ICs...it's crazy.
How do you think the Alpha V2 ICs compare to Audioquest Fire? Either XLR or RCA versions.

Based on your username, and on that alone, the Audioquest is the best

My username is my philosophical metaphor for my audio journey which began in the early 70s. It’s a lifelong journey and is not associated with the company name. Its an alias that is my zen, chi, or whatever you call it when something has a deep connection with you in your life’s upbringing. There’s a life story behind that alias as well.

But, I do agree that coincidentally, that Audioquest does have some great competing products. I use a lot more Shunyata stuff than Audioquest.
