Hi, Doug. Welcome to AA.

I'm in Columbia MO and go to St Louis once in a while. Used to live in Chicago too (N Rush & Chicago Av). Great town.

Hi Carlos. My wife is from and her family still lives in Columbia. You've probably noticed her father's company trucks around town. Columbia Curb and Gutter. We visit every couple of months. I miss Chicago but the baseball is better here in STL. Lol

I just sold my mda1000
It's old technology
Look at a Bryston BDA-2. I liked it so much I bought 3!
Buy a pre-amp - had my mda-1000 as my pa for years. Sounded much better when I added a pa

Small world! I'll look for the trucks. They might have done some work in my house.

Let me know when you are in town. We could do a listening session.

Missouri sports team are on fire now: Cardinals in World Series, Chiefs undefeated and Mizzou on its way to the SEC championship.

Dean-I'll be in the seats for game #5 here in St Louis...praying we win again tonight so I have a chance to see the clincher... title comes back home once again on Monday night!
Carlos-they do commercial, state and federal roads, curbs and bridges, no residential. I might take you up on the listening session the next time I'm in town, thanks for making the new guy here fell really welcome.
Bigpoppapump-I know it's "outdated" but once I get something in my mind, it's going to get done one way or the other. In the pre amp department I will likely add the C500 (tube version) as I believe mated with the MDA will make a pair made in (for me at least) heaven.
Dan-Thanks for the welcome and the compliment. I need to search for a post that you were referenced in...regarding replacing/upgrading the fan in a MS750....?

I would love to see them take the title Monday night. I'll accept it for Game 6, but I hope they do not go to Game 7. I would have to miss seeing that since I teach Tues/Thurs nights for the next month.
