Thanks Audionut
I already feel at home here
I listen often listen to jazz - blues - classic and especially acoustic guitars like Nils Lofgren. For me it is important how it has been recorded.
My favorits are Eva Cassidy - Four play - Ed Thigpen - Lizz Wright - Eric Bibb -
Kebmo - Joe Bonamassa - John Lee Hooker - Buddy Guy - Stevie Ray Vaughn -
Peter Green - Van Morrison etc.....

In Denmark we have several great studios that makes fantastic recordings. So of course theres a lot of danish artists I also listen to

Don´t you the danish writer/poet Hans Christian Andersen ?
He wrote a story about the swan. As young it is very ugly but by time it becomes the most beautiful bird.

Welcome Mick! Have you thought about getting some type of nice carpet or rug to go in the center of your room on the hardwood floors? My room had a pretty big slap echo because of the hardwoods. Getting an 11 X 14 wool rug did wonders for the sound.

Thank you Audioguy

After the photo was taken I bought another sofa and a rug to place in front of the speakers. Yes you are so right - the floor makes the sound very harsh and too bright - on the another hand too much dimm is not so good either. Actually when listening I place some pillows on the table in front of the sofa (yes I'm single and can do what ever I want ). That helps a lot to the sound. I sit in the middle of the room and the back wall is made of ruff bricks.
I have placed diffucers on the sidewalls and the picture behind the speakers, is special made as an absorber. Ihave been thinking lately to place some diffusors on the ceiling between the speakers and the sofa
