The 802D3s are sold in matched pairs, each with the same serial number. The date of manufacture is formatted as yymm, and appears on the shipping carton sticker and as a four digit prefix to the serial number on the silver plate under the speaker binding posts.

I've got a deposit on these, but am now wondering if my room is big enough. It measures 14' x 15', with 12' vaulted ceilings.
Thoughts? |

Bass nodes are the same regardless no? If you are a B&W fan then it doesn’t get much better than the 802d3

IMHO that room size should be fine particularly if it’s a typical room structure - I have the 800’s albeit in a bigger room but have heard the 802’s in rooms around the size you have. Room placement will be important and you will probably need to do some work once you have them set up to control the low frequencies but I think you will be fine - great speakers so good luck!

Sometimes raising the speakers off the floor just a few inches can make a difference. Keeping each distance from a reflecting wall different. I have 2 pair of speakers I wanted but couldn’t justify the price of that I bought as store demos, one pair Is from 2002. Most speakers last and last, just don’t under power them
