Default Olympica Nova 1

I recently added the Nova 1 to a second system in the family room to use mainly for music downstairs. We had been getting by for 2 yrs with a Sonos system which did fill the void until now. I am using these with a McIntosh MA352 integrated amp. So far they seem to mate well. For sources I am using a Bryston BCD-3 CDP and a Gen 6 Apple iTouch. Still in break in mode.

Very nice.
Tough to beat a good pair of monitor speakers.

Beautiful set-up! Do you stream music through the McIntosh/Nova system or thru Sonos?

I stream through Sonos but not to the Mc. No output on the soundbar.

The Nova 1 are starting to loosen up nicely. The little 5.5” midbass is performing well.

I did increase the EQ knobs a couple of clicks to the right for the 30 and 125 Hz. Plus, played a bit louder to awaken the mid-bass driver. Sounding remarkably good for a 5.5” driver.

Glad to hear the adjustment with eq was to your liking.

Is there a scientific reason McIntosh uses the chosen frequencies on the five band equalizer?
