Danny.......What a fine looking Dual 606. It looks mint. I'll bet the Ortofon 2M Black sounds superb on that table and arm combination. I like it.

Here are a few pics of my TT set-up. I Think I have squeezed as much as I can out of my old VPI HMW MK IV. I have the TNT platter and bearing; SAMA motor; Synchronous Drive system, TT Weights Outer Ring, center clamp, and Sound Points; JMW 10 tonearm, Ortofon Windfeld cartridge:

Those are two slabs of marble cutting boards with a sheet of sorbothane in-between. This turntable played through an aftershock of the Northridge Earthquake without a skip, back when I lived in Reseda CA!






Sonic Frontiers SFP-1 SE Phono stage with modifications:

At this year's THE Show at Las Vegas, we used this set-up. Dr. Chris Feikert came by and used his computer program and alignment tool to precisely align my cartridge.

Some very nice TT's here.

Mine probably wouldn't take a good picture since it is black, with a black cartridge, and a black arm.

Thanks for all the accolades, guys! The guy that upgraded the TT for me, said it was one of the 'best conditioned old Duals' he has worked on.

Try shining some light on that puppie. The 1st pic I took of the 2M upgrade made me think WTF.

Low light + black cartridge + black LP = lousy pic.

So, I persevered with more light..............................

Not a perfect pic, but at least you could see what's happenin'.
