What did you think? While most people probably associate him with his pop hits, as you know he's a mean guitarist who can really lay down some blues, R&B and soul (as shown on his Anthology).

This show was blues-heavy with a few pop hits thrown in the keep the crowd content. The crowd for the most part was lethargic - but the travel in may have worn them down. Heavy storms caused major street flooding - show was postponed for 30 minutes. Boz was impressive on the strings. Closed with Loan Me A Dime AND people started leaving. Why (????). Show was a bit short for my liking. He said he has one more tour left in him before he hangs it up.

I know what you mean about the weather. I also live in The Woodlands, had taken my son to see The Elephant Man in a matinee at the Alley Theatre in downtown Houston, and had to drive through that rain storm on my way home at about 5pm. 45 was flooded and we just made it through - no fun at all (although the play was terrific).

Saw Chick Corea and the Vigil at the Jazz Alley in Seattle last night. At 71 he's still a remarkable keyboardist and the band was superb. A really great show.
