I wanted to leave a comment, I was always a Mcintosh user. I heard a new Krell Vanguard int. and I see that the new krell sound is very close to that of the mcintosh. I was surprised to the point that I bought it. the "class A" on the preamp stage is excellent. Very opened sound and smooth without without losing characteristic microdetail and power-watts of the Krell. Comes with very big transformer.
faster and more microdetail sound than MC, Krell , i think because use direct coupled-without autotransformer. Last edited by mati1979; 02-12-2020 at 08:04 AM. |

yes. Im very Happy.
They have more microdetail than my MC452. Very fast sound and opened. I'm surprised, Krell's tone change. I've had several mcintosh (c2300, mc302, MA8000, MC452) and some Krells (Evo302E, Evo 2250E) but this Vanguard I would say that it is between the two worlds with a lot of sound opening. ![]() When I heard it, I don't doubt, I went and bought it. By bluetooth its excelent The cello sounds so "real". ![]() |
