I am curious. Which part of your system did you connect it to? I got a significant improvement when I changed the cord on my preamp.

I have an e-mail in to Transparent regarding their Upgrade program. I traded in two 2m HPPCs toward two 2m Premiums last year. I wrote to ask if I can trade in two 1m HPPCs toward one Premium at 1.5m. If so, I may well go that route, as it would bring the cost of the Premium down a bit more. If not, the buzz around Shunyata's new Venom NR cords is intriguing and they'd represent an alternative. Any cord I get would replace the HPPC on my preamp. Will wait to see what Transparent says. And I'd rather recover from the drama with my new air conditioner first, so no big rush on this. Unless I get impatient; curiosity is high.
