Default New PurePower 2000 in the house!

I just added a PurePower 2000 to my system and I'm very happy with it. I have all of my hardware plugged into it, and the maximum load I've seen has been 38% which leaves some nice headroom for some bigger amps in the future.

I also found it very interesting to see the incoming power voltage readings. I've rarely seen it at 120, and even when I did it was quickly switching between 115 and 120. The incoming power from the wall usually hovers at 115 or 116, but I've seen it as low as 113...so far. It's nice to know my equipment is getting what they expect power wise.

Was there an audible difference you ask? Why yes, yes there was! Since adding the PurePower 2000 I feel some of the rough edges have been filed off leaving smooth yet detailed sound. Another area where I've noticed a difference was in the bass which is now more refined and yet authoritative. Everything just sounds more effortless and smooth. I'm really loving it!

Admittedly I was a bit worried I wouldn't hear the difference, but I'm glad to say that I do and that i have no regrets.

Lunchy.......This seems to be the general consensus of every PurePower 2000 owner that I have read about. Good to know your are in the happy customer column. Congratulations.

Casey... I'm glad you went with the PP2000 over the 1050, sorry it took a bit longer than expected but they are in high demand.

Hi Lunchy,

Congratulations! Believe it or not, there is a break in period and it will get better. I don't remember if it was 100 hrs or a little more but it will open up a bit more and sound better.

I love mine!!!

Joe

How much improvement does the PP have on video? Is it obvious?

Congratulations Lunchy on your PP2000! I have noticed the same thing - an increase in smoothness and a blacker/quieter background!

rocketman.......PM Ivan (Masterlu). He is a PurePower dealer. It is not uncommon to discuss MSRP on the public forum, but discounting is not discussed on the forum. Any deal made with a dealer is considered private information. One person's deal may not be offered to another based on the relationship with a particular dealer. That's why we keep this information to ourselves.
