Hi Uberbrown,
Its not moving to, its more like moving back ..... (remember, I started off with WP6, then 7 right after the JM Labs Mezzo Utopia some years back) The Acapellas are nice and are keepers. However, the new home decor does not permit me to have huge speakers. Also, the trade off would regain some fund where I could put them in better use, like paying off part of the renovation cost. That said, the Argento cables, the Vintage McIntosh system and all the rest of the McGears will go too. Not to mention my collection of comics, books, DVDs and even CD's. All these spell new space as well as cash returns of sorts. I am very lucky to have my watch collection spared! My wife likes the way things are progressing and to me, a happy home is a happy environment. A little (actually a lot) of sacrifice on my part, but the end result would be a peaceful way to enjoy my music. Plus it does help me stop my bad habits of collecting things. Yes, it may not be the best system, but would I ever have or know a "best system"? The answer is that this is the system I could live with and be happy about as long as I stop indulging in reading NEW things and moving into shops which I do intend to do to curb my desires. Like the basic economic statement - "Wants have No ends, resources does", so I just have to make do and be happy and CONTENDED! And I think I can be happy with the Wilson as the end of the music chain. With the BUILD UP cabinets, the amps is also like "locked in" in too. So, form, fit and function takes over dream. And as long as my wife is happy, I HAVE to be happy, unless of course, I want a recourse in my life ... Cheers!

David, that's not a center channel. That would be the "Thor's Hammer" a beast of a subwoofer with 10Hz capability.

Jerry,
Forgive me, but, I'm a little lost. Which model Wilson's are you getting? I am guessing that you will have a beautiful, musical system, that will integrate perfectly into your new decor. |

"Thor's Hammer, Beast " are a good adjactive to describe how it looks. How does is sound compared to the Gotham ? To tell you the truth after hearing the max3 at Hi Fi house I am surprised they made a sub. to go with them. The max 3 sound amazing, the looks are growing on me. My initial impression was a character out the Transformer movie
