Bart Visits Tennessee
After Bart had a wonderful time, visiting Ivan, Ivan's family, and Ivan's stereos in Cape Cod,
He moved on to the deep South and visited Julian and Lane in their Tennessee mountain vacation home. Here is Bart inspecting Julian's little bitty speakers. Really giving them "the eye". DSCF0573.jpg

Actually, in the post above, Bart was inspecting the magnificent Wilson Alexandra XLF speakers in the William Ralston Listening Room at the University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee - that I have reported on several times in the past on AA.
A wonderful room, great sounds and something like 20,000 LPs and 15,000 CDs.

Those are some great pictures........It's not too far away from Atlanta.....one of these days I need to get up there to check out that room. Looks like it would be a lot of fun to do some listening on the XLFs.

Sewanee is in southeast Tennessee, right? Somewhere near Chattanooga, I believe. I'm from Tennessee and heard the name mentioned once or twice growing up but nothing more.
More recently I've heard/read about the listening room; it's supposed to be really good.

Bart... Welcome to the Volunteer State! We're not very many miles apart. I hope the people are treating you with southern hospitality and you enjoy your visit. Take something orange back with you.
