I watched part of it a week or so ago; I stopped about 2/3 the way through, I found it completely mindless and boring, much like those Star Wars "Attack of the Clones" movies; all SFX and virtually devoid of character development, intellectually engaging narrative, or intriguing plot. Yawn.
I'll take the original Frankenheimer "The Manchurian Candidate" or "The Third Man" any day of the week and twice on Sunday.

Tried watching it, couldn't really get through. Maybe I should give it another go. Thanks.
My recent favorite movie was Pig. This is the single best movie Nicolas Cage has done or will ever do. His output can only go downhill from here. |
