It is indeed a great DAC. A little self-serving, but I know there is one for sale here on the forum. It's in like-new condition!

Just think of how it would sound if you were streaming Tidal from the BDP-2.

I'd like to add to this thread that soon a BDA-2 will arrive at my door and it will take on my NAD M51 and I am real curious how they will compare in an A/B test.

I had the BDA-1 before and the NAD M51 replaced it.
The BDA-1 was warmer and more fun to listen to; the NAD more detailed, yet laid back and smooth.

Does anyone here use the BDA2 with the aurender USB out ?

I assume this should work ....but would like to make sure first....

I also looked at the BDA3, but for the price difference, I really don't need the HDMI capabilities....

Thanks for any input

Do you need DSD with the Aurender - if so then the BDA3 would be needed.

At the moment, I do not have any DSD on the aurender......

So I really don't need the BDA3 for that...

I just want to ensure that the aurender USB output will work with the BDA2...

Thanks for any info...

Ok I have not used the Aurender myself but I have not heard of any issues with it and the BDA2 DAC.
