I found out Sound by Singer re-opened in November last year. I remember being at Lyric to buy my 501s (8/10) and saw a bunch of NIB gear Lyric didn't usually sell (I forget the brand). The gear was from Singer, who had offered it to Lyric.
Still, I wonder as these consumer-oriented shows make headway if the wheeling and dealing there still isn't at the expense of retailers in some way.
