Thx Doug.

One more thing, I really like the look of the A10 and the N10 over the n100h. Full size. But i'll have this tucked away in a cabinet anyway. As my gear grows I will have to re-think the retro console I had built.

Tim-

Good listening with your new Aurender and power cables. Power cables IMHO make the biggest difference in cable mayhem.

As I await the N100C to arrive for side by side evaluation with the N10, I continue to rip CD's.

Thx John.

I can also get full credit toward a N10 in a year if I should decide to upgrade.
Looking forward to reading your feedback.

Did they give you an estimate of when the 100C would ship? Also, what was the price difference compared to the 100H?

No estimate but now for the first time the N100c is listed on Aurender's website.

Think its $500 more? Not sure.

The power supplies are entirely different. N100h differs than N10 and it also differs from W20.

Hey guys..wanted to update my thread. I was really all over the map on what to do..but I came to conclusion for a final time That I am getting the Aurender N10-8TB. Lots of reasons but a big one was always looking over my shoulder for what could have been?

Plus I will be trading in some recently purchased c2600 for the C1100-D1100 combo and perhaps going for the MC601s.

The N10 appears to really be the ultimate server for the price. As insane as I can be with audio stuff I just would never spend anymore (please quote me )

Thx for all the helpful comments...I need to do the McIntosh trade in first due to time issues BUT the N10 will be in my home in the next couple of months.

No going back.

Tim, I think you will love the N10-8TB. After starting to use the 4TB one, I can see how someone could fill it up with HiRes, AIFF or WAV files - which is what I prefer. Those extra 4TB's could be handy down the road. I am not worrying about mine filling up since I play more vinyl.
