Two Dot -

I envision you doing the happy dance while the music is playing.

Enjoy!

If you think those are small; have you seen the GB1's? a few levels below the OB1's, but those are amazing in the amount of room filling sound they reproduce.

So glad to see Two dot enjoying his loaners.... I sense an OB1i in your room very soon ! And yes they are remarkably better in every possible aspect.

These speakers really do get better with time in that you get used to their subtleties: Refined yet true bass (deep deep with OB's dropping off somewhere in the low 20's), detail & nuance capability, ease of placement, conveyance of the quality & character of sources and components, a nice balance between neutrality and musicality & warmth... Disappear? All of this with just three drivers x'ed very steeply and uniformly and an unassuming cabinet...

Magnmac,
Some of the best sound I have ever heard on any PMC was with the GB1i, once with SimAudio, once with a big ass Krell, and the other with a Bryston of course! And a few other notables include VAC & Parasound (JC1's)...

Cisco has the GB1's I believe, and loves them.

I spent some quality time listening last night...

Lights off... no distractions.

Well, I know that some believe it takes every new component a while to gel with the energy flowing through the wires while others believe that it takes a little while for your ears to get used to the new gear...

All that I can tell you is these speakers have gotten sooo much better over the last few days.

In a word INCREDIBLE!!!

I can honestly say that I have now heard Eva Cassidy and Shelby Lynn in a way I never thought possible.

There WERE in the room.

Also, Nils Lofgren, DMB, Iron & Wine, The Jayhawks.... these speakers do it all so well!

Thank you Ian and PMC.

Stephen.......I'm not a Palmist, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night. I'm getting a vision of a new pair of floor standing PMC's are in your near future.

I'm still loving the TB2i's and it looks as if things just keep getting better up the PMC line...

Streetspirit,

I too love the TB2is... one of the best monitors that I have heard.

But, PLEASE, see if you can, demo a pair of OB's...
You will, be blown away!!!
