Default EB1i's to What?
All right gentlemen the EB1i's are very nice speakers.

How would I benefit replacing the EB1i's with the IB2i's or even the MB2i's?

Who here has been able to do a comparison between them?

I own the EB1i's, OB1i's, and CB6i. I have also demo'ed the PB1i's.

At first I was entertaining the thought of new electronics like a pair of MC2301's or MC1.2Kw amps but maybe that $20K would be better used in a nice speaker upgrade.

Congrats the MB2i is going to be your best speaker upgrade along the PMC line. Lookup Vipers in AudioCircle or AVSForums. He used to have an EB1i. Bryston 7b or 28b were known to have synergy with PMC speakers. I just loved the perfect tonal balance of the Bryston amps.

Just thinking out loud. I doubt at this point I will change anything in my system but it is nice to dream.
