Ian.......The Rose Palissandre veneer on the PMC PB1i Signature is absolutely beautiful. Any plans for that finish on an EB1i Signature?

As of right now, doubtful... We'll likely see the new fact model(s), and possibly an OB1i signature before that.

Hi Ian,
Sorry for the OT as I don't have privilege to create new thread: The Vifa D75MX-41 is not produced under that name/brand anymore, will you know if the current PMC EB1i is using the Scan-Speak D7608/9200-10 driver? Gj |

Has anyone directly compared any Signature model to the corresponding standard model?
I'm curious about this whole 'more midrange' thing. |

Well it's actually more than the "mid range thing", which could be only described as a boost in the vocal region, which is actually where most of the music resides. Textures are more apparent, vocals are pushed up front... You would have to hear the PB1i sig to really know what I'm talking about. PLay some nice acoustic music and your heart will melt (NICK DRAKE ANYONE?)...
The thing that I like about all of the signatures is the finish, which is strikingly beautiful, and the 10 year warranty... Although personally, I think the PB1i is pretty much unbreakable.
