I would say the Dynaudio Confidence 30 would be the comp to the Salon 2.

Revel Salon2 is 22k speaker, so you should compare it with 20+k Dynaudio - Confidence 30 and 50, and not the Contours. And not just because of price - Confidence has different voicing, it's more revealing, has (a lot) better resolution, transparency and dynamics. It's more likely to fit someone who likes Revel voicing.
