Mono Mode on C22 (and other Mac pre amps?)
Recently "discovered" the Mode Selector on my C22, and as you'd expect, it appears to play stereo recordings in mono, but there's no documentation from Mc on how it actually works. Most pressingly--if I play an early Beatles stereo album in Mono Mode, how will that compare to the mono version of that same album? If there is virtually no difference, this would be very valuable since Beatles in mono is super expensive and early Beatles in stereo is often a mess. Also, are there other purposes for the Mode Selector?
