Can I disable or just remove the MC tubes on the C22 MKV?
Hi all. I only plan on using the MM input on the C22 so I wanted to see if disabling the MC tubes is possible and if not, could I just remove them? Thanks.

You might contact McIntosh but I would think that powering the unit without tubes would not be good for that part of your amp as it would still have other components getting power. I am not EE so I am just guessing.

I believe it may state in the manual how to disable the MC tubes. Do not take them out. As suggested ^ make a call to McIntosh.
