For German Physiks, well worth taking a listen to the Loreley, Emperor and some of their mid to lower price models. Audio Physics is nothing like GP from a design and approach point of view.

For omnidirectional speakers they are a very good example...

My understanding is that German Physiks is a highly reputable company and makes outstanding speakers. I encourage anyone to go and read their website, it's excellent. Omnidirectional speakers are a strong interest of mine, and I have no doubt that the construction of German Physiks is absolutely high end. The most similar design, believe it or not, is from the American company Ohm in NYC. Ohm also has a great site & blog; much can be gleaned from these 2 companies about recreating a natural soundstage. That being said, I will never purchase German Physiks for one reason - I just don't like the appearance. For me, the holy grail lies in another omnidirectional German speaker firm, Duevel.

Just visited the website - very innovative! They may have solved the problem that caused me to move from floorstanders to stand-mounts in our living room system. I see the next upgrade path....
