Parasound Halo A51
Mine arrived today--wow! Compared to the amp section in my Sony ES 6400 receiver, it is far warmer, more detailed, and simply more life-like. My Martin Logans are much happier! So, I'm using the Sony only as a pre/pro for the time being.

I know nothing of Parasound. Why "solid?"

It's solidly built and has solid performance, I guess. I'd say it goes well beyond solid performance! Check them out: Product Lines > Halo > A 51 Five Channel Power Amplifier

Congrat's...that is a huge step up you just made and panels always love more power.

I've got the A21 and have had the HCA-855. A very nice sounding amp. I liked it much more than a Odyssey Stratos and McCormack DNA-125 that passed through the house. Mucho power, and I think the A51 is simply the 5 channel version of the A21.
Enjoy.. (also it should work very well on hard to drive speakers) |
