Very nice, Glenn. Will you be doing a burn-in sleep-in?

After extended listening the Devore 0/93s were too 'warm' for my old ears. I need more extended highs. Of course, it may just end up being the curse of age and nothing will really solve the problem. We'll see.............

My listening space has a 7' ceiling, plus the lens on my camera gives it a bit of a 'fish-eye' look, so they appear somewhat 'larger than life'.

Jim - yes, running 24/7.

Very nice Glenn. My local audio buddy just bought a pair and then opted for the Maggie optional stands that raised them about 3" and he claims the sound has greatly improved. He said these stands compare to the Magna Risers. He is driving them with Plinius Haito integrated amp.
I like the Mye Stands as they "hold up" and support the back of the speakers also but they are quite a bit more expensive.
These were on my short list along with the Eminent Technology (ET) LFT-8B's. Another one of my local audio buddies and I ordered the ET LFT-8B's recently, I am going to try the Sound Anchor stands first and then may have Grant at Mye build a pair of his stands for the ET's.

Thanks for the names of stands. I Googled Magnepan stands a couple of days ago and got pretty much nothing. So a big help.

No problem.
The Maggie stands mount to the back as stock stands but are curved down to the floor all welded construction and can be angled with washers to tilt the speakers. Available from Magnepan dealers.
The Magna Riser stands are like the stock stands but are more rigid, all welded and move the speakers straight up. Available right from the company in Ohio.
The Mye stands all all welded stands but have both bottom "feet" and 2 riser angled steel pieces that go up the back of the speaker and with the U-shaped steel "holders/clamps" grab the speakers and keep them from moving back and forth. Available from Grant Mye in Canada. He ships all over the world.

Just spent half an hour with 2" blue painters tape pulling the sock away from the drivers. Seems the packing on the 1.7i lends itself to the sock sticking to the front and one has to use the tape to pull the sock free. Something of a PITA, but quite doable.

Another 24hr has really helped. Surprising amount of bass. I've read in a few places that the 1.7i is a bit more tipped to the bass than is the 3.7i.

Happy New Year Glenn and many happy hours of listening. I go back and forth between my Guarneri Homage and recently acquired Maggie LRS+.

Congrats. We’ve always enjoyed Maggies. They have stunning sound with many genres - esp. female vocals. Your room looks awesome too.
