I'm very happy with my K-05. However, since my Bryston BDP-2 arrived, I'm doing most of my listening with it vs. the K-05.

I went into the audio shop with my mind set on K07. Then I thought, why not audition both K07 & K05 at the same time for comparison, & I did. After struggling for a while, I ended up taking K05 home. K07 is a very good player at that price level, but to me, the sound density & clarity from K05 are just better. Guess it really comes to personal judgement whether such performance difference justifies the price difference.
