General question
So right now, my whole focus is single seat, fully focused sound.
I understand that if the room is used fully (i.e. like a living room or a large listening space with multiple seats), then perhaps diffusors are a good choice tokeep the room from sounding too dead.. ... but if your focus is a single sweet spot with best possible staging focus, should I be more heavily focused on traps and absorbers? Front wall: 242 x 6 Rear wall: 244 x3 Side wall: 242 x 3 on each Ceiling: Not yet installed, perhaps 242 x4 I do have some corners and some areas where I could fit in a diffusor along the sides (sort of like alternating between absorbers and diffusors). I was looking at the alpha series, perhaps something like a tritrap. |
