My room is a bit bigger than yours but, since I know nothing about the Luxman, I cannot help.

How demanding is the TAD E1 regarding amplification?

What about regarding room / position / sweet spot?

Thanks.

Just read the review, very accurate based on my experience and the measurements support the results.

For 5h I heard these speakers with mostly my own CD's. They are probably the best speaker in this pricerange I ever heard. A lot of speakers much more expensive can't beat them.

From top to bottom they simply sounds perfect. I can't wish for any frequence there I would like something better. They have high resolution, extremely god dynamic skills, the best I'v heard. No coloration at all. They are clear but no tendency to sound hard.
The bas extension, depth, dynamic and control were better than I ever could expect for a speaker in this small size.

The speaker distorsion was not detectable by my ears. Even way over 100db I could not force the speaker to lose control. These speaker can rock. More than my ears can take without getting damaged.

The coaxial midrange and treble makes the acoustic center in the same place and thats a big advantage according to the short wavelength. The sound simply gets to your ear from the right direction an at the right time. This makes the timbre beautiful and the music to sound as it was recorded.

The bas mambane is made of carbon. A type that also is used in bulletproof wests. Very stiff and light. According to my ear without making any own signature to the original signal.

I have actually never heard a speaker this good without being a statement speaker such as The Sonus Fabre ore so.

But I must say. My SF Amati Futura are better looking.

They sounds good but not like the TAD E1 does.

Now I want to listen to TAD R1.
