I love Simaudio stuff. Another great Made in Canada product. But to for me, the Pass xa series is incredible in the SS world. Didn't have a chance to A/B with some of the great Simaudio stuff.....but I really do like the Pass xa. (Note to self: never listen to the Xs series. I might like it WAY too much!)

Don't do it Mike.

I have NO DOUBT the VAC Sig IIa preamp plus the Bryston 28BSST2's amps would make a superb combo.

Don't poo poo a VAC/28BSST2 combo until you hear it, especially on Strads. The VAC is that amazing. The VAC will lift everything after it.
