Default TAD M600 Mono Amp Questions

I see that the TAD speakers were voiced to Technical Brain before they came out with their own amps. Then Andrew Jones and Technical Brain supposely colobrated in making the M600 monos. Has anyone experienced hearing the two amps with TAD speakers? Is the M600 have a lot of the TB sound or interior design? Is M600 amp as quick as the Constellation Centaur monos?

I have never heard the TB amps with the TAD Ref 1's. They sure sound good with the TAD amps.

I have heard TAD R1 with Constellation Centaur and TAD M600. In my opinion, there is much better synergy with M600; more weighty, better body, more invigorating.
If I had enough money I would buy M600, no remorse.

From what I have read over the past 12 months or so, the M600 + a 'musical' front end = the ultimate way to drive tad ref speakers...

Hehe.. good to see you back David, was quiet over here without you

Any system changes since your last posts? Any new TAD equipment pairing revelations? (I just read your krell story in the other thread).

David your the first person that I noticed owns both the TAD M600 with TAD speakers. I'm hoping to hear the M600 in the near future. Like to hear the difference between that and my MSB S200. Hopefully it will be night and day and just not little bit better.

Joost

This year has been one of the busiest times for us in many a year hence my absence.

One or two system changes have occurred, a new server based system has been implemented a redesign of the main conditioning components and moving of the G2's back in to the third system.

John

Having tried S203 mono's with the TAD speakers I felt as I mentioned in the other thread, these are quality amps for sure (although they do get bloody hot and I mean hot) they did not produce the results I was looking for.

Difference between the two pairs of amplifiers is quite marked, plus you have the stunning build quality of TAD.

Though in fairness the price is to here in the UK MSB 203's are $36000 all bar a couple of hundred $ and the TAD significantly more

My personal goals are towards a real musical experience rather than delivering presentational aspects over an involving sound.

For many years I used Larry's products, the latest incarnations I find not to my taste along the lines of DCS but with more dynamics.

Though with all things in audio personal taste is paramount and we all differ there.

One other honorable mention must go to Concert Fidelity amplification I recently spent time with this combination very musical and thoroughly captivating.

A good match with TAD speakers.

The DarTZel Mono's are also a great match with TAD speakers also, much to my amazement (I'm not a Krell man at all) the D' Agostino amps also make good bed fellows.
