Hi

It will be RCA one and is the same phono stage. Yes a ground screw will be added.

Any chance we will see an analogue focused preamp with the BR-20 pre, control, headphone circuitry + MM option?
Hi

Well the response has been over the top so we are hoping January delivery.

No plans on another analog preamp currently - The BP26 still sells well.

I kind of agree. The prototype model number was BP-18 (until they decided to go with BR-20 in honour of the late Brian Russell) so it’s more like a BP-17 on steroids. It is way more stacked with the new circuits as mentioned, a new volume control and digital display (finally!) plus the BDA/BDP components.

It will be interesting to see the comparison reviews on sound quality between the latest two preamps. I could be convinced to upgrade my BP-17 Cubed!

Default Announcing The Bryston BR-20 Preamp/DAC/Streamer

Does the BR-20 have space inside and SATA connections for an internal HDD or SSD like the BDP?

Hi AV

No sorry - no plans for an internal drive option in the BR20.

Very nice.
Are the analog inputs/outputs 100% analog or are the signals digitized in some fashion thru the BR-20?

Hi Glenn

Yes the analog section is fully discrete analog circuits.

Wow! A winner. This may easily be my choice over the McIntosh D1100

DAC = BDA3 - check
Digital and analog inputs - check
Price point - check

Is the headphone amp the same as the BHA1?
Warranty?

Availability?
