My ex had similar patience. It cost how much? I can't tell any difference. And so it goes.

Its not the cost, she thinks I'm nuts, she says, " at a certain point, there's no difference in the sound"... And, she's baffled by the multiple rooms of gear.
She's got 300 pairs of shoes, I don't give her any hassle... And I don't hear the difference , no matter how loud she walks!

I think I'm the luckiest guy on AA. My wife's shoe size is 11 AAA, so she cannot get many shoes at all even if she wanted them. She has a few purses, but nothing too fancy.

Actually, I'm the one in the house with more nice shoes and nice clothes. She is a great gal and low maintenance enough to keep things sane. The good thing is that she can ramp it up as needed and doesn't give me a "this-is-too-nice-and-a-waste-of-money" attitude. When I gave her a nice watch as a gift, she loved it and still wears it every day.

We are all pretty lucky to be in situations where we lay out a 100G's to play music, and have a great place like this to talk about it. Music done well is worth the investment! And it sounds alot better if your other half is OK with all this, and digs the tunes... Happy wife, happy husband !
